OliVR Project Opening and Promotion Meeting

The OliVR Project Kick-Off Meeting was successfully held at the International Agricultural Training Center (UTEM) in Ankara. Representatives from the University of Córdoba (UCO), Spain, Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), Greece and Hacettepe University, Ankara attended the meeting in person, while experts from JCCM (Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha), Spain joined online via Zoom.

During the meeting, the project plan was reviewed in detail, technical expectations among partners were aligned, and the methods and standards for preparing the materials (photos, videos, etc.) required for the development of the VR modules were discussed.

The partners also initiated the planning of field recordings, the creation of pruning scenarios based on different olive varieties, and the development of VR-compatible training content. This kick-off meeting marked the official launch of the project and strengthened the collaboration among all partner institutions.
